Denny Hoskins' (r-noun, verb, CPA) is indeed getting significantly propped up (we already knew that) by the House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC). Now we have some of the specific attributable numbers, via the Missouri Ethics Commission:

Detailed Summary of Expenditures And Contributions Made
Committe: HOUSE REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE INC
ReportDate: 10/12/2010

B. ITEMIZED EXPENDITURES ALL OVER $100 AND ALL PAYMENTS TO CAMPAIGN WORKERS

Victory Enterprises Davenport, IA 09/27/2010 IE Media Buy-Hoskins $10,464.00

Victory Enterprises Davenport, IA 09/27/2010 IE Radio Buy-Hoskins $8,976.38

[emphasis added]

That's close to $20,000.00 in radio and cable buys saturating a really small media market. And yet, they're curiously silent about Denny Hoskins (r) not paying $20,317.89 in property taxes on time. It's ironic - if the latter had been accomplished, there would probably have been no need for the former.

Courtney Cole (D) filed her third quarter campaign finance report with the Missouri Ethics Commission on October 15th:

Detailed Summary of Committee Disclosure Report
Committe: COLE FOR HOUSE

1. TOTAL RECEIPTS FOR THIS ELECTION PREVIOUSLY REPORTED $57,851.51
2. ALL MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED THIS PERIOD $10,310.00

9. TOTAL ALL RECEIPTS THIS ELECTION(SUM 1B + 7A - 8A) $68,408.66

5. TOTAL EXPENDITURES THIS ELECTION (SUM 10B + 14A) $41,279.88

28. MONEY ON HAND AT THE CLOSE OF THIS REPORTING PERIOD (SUM 25 + 26 - 27) $21,166.44

[emphasis added]

That's a significant amount of money for the month since the thirty day after the primary report.

The contributions:

A combination of individual small dollar contributions, organized labor (working people!) and a few Democratic office holders.

The expenditures:

Apparently, that's the mail, ready to go out.

Denny Hoskins (r) filed his third quarter campaign finance report with the Missouri Ethics Commission on October 15th:

Detailed Summary of Committee Disclosure Report
Committe: CITIZENS FOR HOSKINS

1. TOTAL RECEIPTS FOR THIS ELECTION PREVIOUSLY REPORTED $0.00
2. ALL MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED THIS PERIOD $13,652.00

9. TOTAL ALL RECEIPTS THIS ELECTION(SUM 1B + 7A - 8A) $14,152.00

15. TOTAL EXPENDITURES THIS ELECTION (SUM 10B + 14A) $6,807.13

25. MONEY ON HAND AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS REPORTING PERIOD (INCLUDING FUNDS IN DEPOSITORY, CASH, SAVINGS ACCOUNTS AND ALL OTHER INVESTMENTS) $18,339.07

35. TOTAL INDEBTEDNESS AT THE CLOSE OF THIS REPORTING PERIOD (SUM 29 + 30 + 31 - 32 - 33 - 34) $2,000.00

[emphasis added]

We see this on occasion, a number of republican candidates campaigns reset the "previously reported" clock for the first general election report after the primary. It makes it a little more cumbersome to ascertain the total contributions and expenditures in the election cycle.

We already know that the HRCC has spent close to $20,000.00 on radio and cable on behalf of Denny Hoskins. We also know that the Missouri republican party has spent a considerable amount of money for attack mail on behalf of Denny Hoskins (r), but we don't know the specific amount yet.

Let's see where the direct contributions came from in Denny Hoskins' report:

Detailed Summary of Contributions And Loans Received
Committee: CITIZENS FOR HOSKINS
Report Date: 9/30/2010

Citizens for Riddle Fulton, MO 9/18/2010 $500.00

Missouri CPA PAC St. Louis, MO 9/18/2010 $5,000.00

Loehner for Representative Koeltztown, MO 9/30/2010 $500.00

MHA PAC Jeff City, MO 9/30/2010 $1,000.00

MBA Capitol Region PAC Jeff City, MO 9/30/2010 $500.00

B. NON-ITEMIZED CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED

13. TOTAL MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED FROM PERSONS GIVING $100 OR LESS $1,377.00

[emphasis added]

Isn't it Jefferson City?

There are a lot of PAC contributions. Denny Hoskins' campaign doesn't bother to list small individual donations, chosing to lump them in under a single reporting line. Absent the single $5,000.00 contribution from the CPA PAC one can see why outside republican groups are propping up his campaign.

Bill Wayne, the Libertarian candidate, filed an exemption [pdf] with the Missouri Ethics Commission on October 1st.
